Referrals

For children and families who have issues that extend beyond what schools can offer, community resources are available.  There are a number of local individual counselors and counseling agencies that offer support for a wide variety of issues and concerns. If you are interested in pursuing outside counseling you can contact me for additional information. The counselors/agencies included in our directory are not recommended, investigated or monitored by the Issaquah School District and the services cannot be guaranteed. Please feel free to pursue other options that address the needs of your family.

Websites

Below are websites that might offer additional information to you and your family.  The websites have not been researched and the quality of information cannot be guaranteed.  The websites address topics such as: social lives of children including bullying, dealing with discipline, helping children cope with grief, and many more... There are also websites for children included.  It is important to preview these sites before giving your children access and - as always - monitor their computer use.
